Recorded from the window of an apartment, the videos called Proposals for Happiness (with Camille Laurelli) display a little bit of strange atmosphere. A Luna park and its’ noises can be seen and heard from further away, the scene is hidden by trees. The video could be an
opening scene of a horror movie. But it is a loop, and no action ever follows. Only some details from the off-field (hors-champs) appear. Latente
action never acures, the images repeats itself endlessly, and the image deletes itself, loses its sens. One does not wait anything anymore, and yet, the image is beautiful that sends us back to the fact that we are looking nothing, a non-action. One becomes a spectator of void that transformes itself.
